Sometimes I wonder how the sun feels every time it has to set. Does it rather stay up a little later? Does it wish it could watch the world go by a little longer?
I am not a child. I know it doesn’t really go to sleep behind the horizon and I know that a sunset here means a sunrise there but if the sun were a person and if that person were me, I would want to stare a little longer. Because there is always something someone hasn’t noticed before. Something worth-staring at. Like the ocean breathing deeply. Or a conductor making music with his baton.
